I think my brother might have Celiac, he’s had random issues with his stomach and GI system in general. I’ve read a bit about it here and on other sites, and it sounds like one of those things that might be Celiac or could be several other things… I’m going to suggest to him that he get tested for it.

Hello Joseph!

Thanks for posting! You didn’t list exactly which symptoms your brother is experiencing, but if it’s nothing too severe, you might want to first suggest that he follow a gluten elimination diet for a week to see if he improves. He could then go to the doctor with the results of that, so you at least have a starting point. If, on the other hand, his symptoms are causing him a lot of pain or stress, he may want to get to the doc ASAP, and mention that he feels a test for Celiac is warranted based on his research.
